“Sire,
I have some important news.. Trouble has occurred today beneath our very noses! Fearghal Clan men and women have been spotted roaming through the noble district disguised in merchant robes. I believe the Fearghals' were behind the disturbances our guards have had a hard time controlling sire...
A song was sung of such skill and talent that its lyrics seemed to have spread through the city like a wild fire. I even caught its tune being hummed by a senior Black Dragon guard... He no doubt did not recognize it for what it was! But alas, what with recent escalations by the Nemedian attacks, local militia were not able to stop the Fearghal plot.
The song my lord? ... It was one cursing the secretive House of Asgaurd. We do not know for sure but there are only few in this world that have the talent to make such Rhymes. I believe it was a ploy to attract the attention of Asgard and one that worked. A local patron of the Armsman told of a confrontation when a small number of strangers probably from the House of Asgard attempting to silence the Bard.
My informant tells of a host of barbarians rushing from under heavy cloaks in all directions as most of the locals fled the public house. But apparently no attempts of violence were made..
Yes my lord.. this is indeed strange news... We thought the two were at open war but it seems the Fearghal council had arranged this meeting with another thought on their mind. I must admit that I am at a loss to discover what this might be.
On other news My Lord I must confess, the illness spreads through the Slum district seemingly unstoppable. Our best surgeons and priests are at a loss to find a remedy to stem the evil parasites that plague our city! I am not sure how long we will be able to keep the gates of the district closed from prying eyes... We can only pray to Mitra the pandemic will pass. I see no other way to stop it nor do I see the reason it has started...”
((For those eagled eyed among us, you might have noticed a number of Fearghal slagging of House of Asgard. Although we used the OCC channel it was purely a way of continuing our role playing in a interesting way! We hope this has inspired others to enjoy similar role playing experiences and enhance our community!))
