House of Asgard and the Ailment of Nashara...

My Lord Tyrnan,

There is much I would like to say in this letter but I cannot be sure it will not fall into the wrong hands.

It is with a heavy heart that write this letter. The evil twisted Necromancer Master Zethrion of The House of Asgaurd has struck again! We found out late last night that Nashara one of the mightiest Fearghal warriors fell pray to the darks lords ploy and has been affected with an ancient evil poison I nor lady Myrtis knows little about. I... I fear she does not have much time left.

I must confess my anger towards Zethrion and his un-dead messenger was insurmountable! My fury could have turned my rage against anyone last night! I must learn to mediate to control these emotions. Perhaps brother Kirai will show me how.

My fury towards that twisted Stygian scum was only matched by a totally different type of anger directed at Nashara. Why did she keep quiet for so long!! Why did she not come to me as soon as she knew what was happening to her! Gah.. why is she so stubborn?!

I fear my Lord that the dark master Zethrion is simply using Nashara to force me to deliver you! He did not know whether I would give up my life if he poisoned me the night I fell from battle, and anyway I assume I was too weak to carry the poison for too long. No he chose Nashara because he knew she, more than any Fearghal would be an ideal host for the parasites. He also believed I would of course to go to any measure to rescue the young recruit.

The dark mage hunts you for revenge my Lord for a mutual friend tells me the House of Asgaurd only joined the fight at the Moragh Settlement because of failed attempt at his life. He believes you sent the assassin who failed miserably.

All may not be lost however… Myrtis and I have made contact with a mutual friend who wishes like us, that this matter be resolved before the King himself may be forced to respond between open hostilities between our tribes and the House of Asgaurd. He will seek you out at the docks in Old Tarantia tonight I hope. Then perhaps he will share his plan with you or at least give you warning what is to come.

I… ride to the boarders of Shem… to perform an action…. I mean find a potion that I hope will save Nashara should you fail. You know my ties to that southern state neighboured with Stygia but do not ask me why I go. Please Athair do not breathe a word of this to anyone, for I do not wish my Fearghal Brothers and sisters to know my mother came from such a place.

I believe both of us will need good luck this night!

Yours in fellowship,

Brother Caspian,
