Lughnasadh Festival

Sire,

I bring word from the north that may amuse you. The Fierce Clan Fearghal were spotted in the early hours, upholding the Cimmerian tradition known as Lughnasadh. My advisors tell me you yourself know the importance this Renewing Festival has had in generations past amongst the tribesmen of the north.

Scouts say the Clan Fearghal members were spotted in the glacier falls just outside Conarch Village in varying degrees of dress or… lack of dress I am told. These fearsome warriors who have long provided a powerful force in the region were seen renewing themselves in the traditional manor. We do not however have much more information on the matter, the one reaming scout has yet deluge anything more after being accosted by several of the female warriors and subjected to certain.. mutilation.

It seems as though the rest of the Aqualonian guard 'caught' observing this 'tradition' were un-ceremoniously draped around the surviving messenger in what I can only described as gruesome pieces before being escorted to the road south. The young soldier still to this hour repeatedly states the phrase 'she was two people, talking to herself!'

A trusted friend and spy from with the settlement tells the scouts show was interrupted by a young Clan member and subsequently 'torn to bits'. The Moragh elders who have long been allied to the Clan has sent emissaries to his Lordship offering tokens of compensation but also kindly reminding his highness of Cimmerian Law and customs.

The spy also reports the ritual bath was followed by a Bare-handed hunt through Conall's Valley - ending up at the Battle Circle in Moragh Settlement - Here Clan Fearghal had ritual Battle Circle duels to initiate new members into the Fearghal way of life!

The Vanir threat in the lands seem to wither show some signs of respect towards the festival and have suspended their siege of the area. However our spy believes the upsurge of allied tribesmen in the area may have played a greater role in the stem of violence directed towards our friends in the north. Perhaps this is a sign, our forces are better directed to other fronts?
