Sire, as requested, Baylian Baron of Kerrick has provided me with a brief report on the results of the recent boxing tourney in Cimmeria. I know you were disappointed at missing this tourney sire, this will only be more true if Baylian's report is accurate. The tourney held in the Clan Morgah settlement was well attended by boxers and spectators from across Hyboria. Mead was in plentiful supply and the fighting hard and fast. Warriors from many tribes were present including warriors from Clan Fearghal, the House of Asgard, the knights of Poitain and several Stygians of unknown origin ((Silver Talon & Shadowstorm Supremacy)).
The tourney was a hard fought affair full of tense moments. The final was contested by Commander Goiyon, The Commander of Baylian's household troops and the mighty Ulfghar, Champion of the House of Asgard. The final was a hard fought affair full of blow and counter blow, but in the end the mighty Ulfghar bested Poitain's champion and took the 1 Gold prize money.
Baylian regrets to inform you sire that the event was also marred by the actions of one of his knights. Sir Astalos Firemane was forced to enter the ring as a slave of a Stygian merchant! It seems Sir Astalos had got himself into debt in Kemi following an incident involving several women with low moral virtue. Unable to pay his fee to these women Sir Astalos was sold into slavery to pay his debt. He was set free at the tourney as a good will gesture by a group of exiled Stygian refugees ((Shadowstorm Supremacy)) who have been given permission to settle in Poitain by Count Trocero.
